Budget 2025-26
The Lake County Library District budget is set by a budget committee consisting of the five elected library board members and five community members appointed by the board. The board appoints a Budget Officer to propose a budget to the committee. The Library Director is currently the Budget Officer. The proposed FY 2025-26 budget and budget message are linked below.
Notice of Budget Committee Meeting:
A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Lake County Library District, Lake County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026, will be held at the Main Library at 26 South G St, Lakeview, OR 97630 and virtual via Zoom (link provided upon request). The meeting will take place on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 10:30am.
The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee. A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after June 3, 2025, at all Lake County Library District locations during normal business hours, or on the library website anytime at www.lakecountylibrary.org
A public meeting of the Lake County Library District will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Main Library located at 26 South G St, Lakeview, Oregon, and virtual via Zoom (link provided upon request). The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2025 as approved by the Lake County Library District Budget Committee. A summary of the budget is presented below. A copy of the budget may be inspected or obtained on or after June 2, 2025, at any Lake County Library District location during normal business hours or online at www.lakecountylibrary.org. This budget is for an annual budget period. This budget was prepared on a basis of accounting that is the same as the preceding year.
