Who We Are

Welcome to the Lake County Libraries! The Lake County Library District consists of the Main Library in Lakeview, and branches in Paisley, Christmas Valley and Silver Lake. The Lake County Libraries provide free public library services to all residents living within Lake County, with services also available to non-residents for a fee.
Based on community input, the library has adopted the following Community Impact Goals:

  • Lake County children will be ready for kindergarten.
  • Lake County residents will explore ideas through engaging stories and lifelong learning.
  • Lake County residents will have-high speed access to the digital world.
  • Lake County residents will have comfortable spaces to connect with each other and the wider world.

We will meet these goals by offering you a wide variety of stories and information to check out, programs to encourage a love of reading in children of all ages, public computers and Wi-Fi, and programs for lifelong learning for adults - all inside increasingly comfortable libraries in Lake County
